Ken Corrupt

Drew this of Kenlokurai (click me to see!) and thought gee I really enjoy this jacket. I shall draw it again!
So I did.
Here he is again. Thought it was kinda cool having him looking to the side and the halftones in the back again, because in a weird way putting the other drawing and this one next to each other is sort of an implied diptych.
Anyway, enjoy!

Kenlokurai sitting on the floor

If you've been following ma schtoof you may remember some Kenlokurai drawings I put up in October 2012.
So here he is again.
I like the subtle use of color just for a little punctuation. Photoshop CS5.1

Kariya

Kariya Matou
The worms have claimed a lot, inside and out, including the appearance of the side of his face.
It's interested drawing someone in their mid twenties as something that's getting the life sucked out of it. The posture and structure of a younger person, but complicated by brittle hair, pale skin, and premature wrinkles.
I like him.

Madison basic colors

Here's Madison from Cardcaptors. Check it out larger here. I really like the series. I have fond memories of it and nearly every time I go to a Half Price Books I look for the manga. My collection is small but growing!
Yes, I've drawn Tomoyo (called Madison in the English version), but I think Toya is my favourite character. Growing up it used to be Yuki (Yukito/Julian), but as I grew older in my periodic returns to the series I really began to respect and love how great of an older brother Toya is.
I love how much he loves Sakura, especially in his encounter with The Mirror. That story is probably the one within the series that sticks out most to me, just because pain can't keep Toya from his sister.
I also like the underlying romantic implications Clamp is great at slipping in to their stories, the relationship between Yuki and Toya being no exception.
Anyway, yeah so here's Tomoyo, a great best friend to Sakura, super cute, super creative, loyal, ect. A bunch of the attributes that the best of friends should have.

Life is Suffering.
I'm living proof that this ain't right.
Everyday

It proves to me
